One important aspect of APSAD's mission is to raise awareness among the authorities and the general public about the main heritage and environment issues at stake. Various publications (In French, English and Arabic) help to achieve this goal:1964 - 2003

Organizing events abroad - exhibitions in London, Istanbul, Belgrade, Paris, Brussels, Milan and Rome, etc.: 1964
Participation of APSAD to the annual general assemblies and conferences held by Europa Nostra, The Council of Europe,Italia Nostra and Civitas Nostra in Europe: 1963 - 1989
Receiving and Hosting many international delegations and professionals : Irish Georgian society Group (2001), Patrimoine Sans Frontiéres (20001/2/3), Students in architecture from schools in Paris (2002/03), Doctor Raymond Le Maire (1997), M. Robin Fedden (1961), Dr. Luigi Piccinato (1962)
Organization and active participation during the National Heritage Day (Upon the official request of the Lebanese Ministry of Culture) : 2002, 2003, 2004
Organization of cultural events and journeys, workshops and festivals 2001-2002(Jounieh, Salima, Byblos).
Promoting the Daraj el Fahn exhibitions, APSAD being a founding member of this annual event staged in Gemayze
APSAD organized special guided visits:
- November 20,2008 for a German group of women.
- 31 March 2009 for an American group of women.
- 22 May 2009 for the Association « AYADINA ».
The visited Old houses were: Bustros, Linda Sursock, Mokbel,Sursock palace, the domain of Lady Cochrane, Gemayzeh and Gouraud street.
Heritage day organized by APSAD Kesrwan-Jbeil 12 August 2009
APSAD kesrwan – Jbeil organized a special heritage day on the 12 August 2009 to Amchit and Batroun in which participated 65 persons of different ages the majority emigrants who came to Lebanon for vacation.
Arival to Amchit around 10 o'clock
First visit : St. Michel hospital
Second visit : the house of general Fares Lahoud
Third visit: the locality of the parochial church of N.D. of Amchit, the tomb of Henriette Renan and the house of Nazih Lahoud
Fourth visit: the locality of Maabour, the house of Zakhia Toubia where stayed Ernest Renan, the rooms, museum,objects, letters, photos (visiting the house of Mikhael Toubia in restoration)
After Lunch departure to Batroun
In Batroun meeting the historian Joseph Merkach, visiting the Roman amphitheatre,walking in the souks, visiting the three churches: St. Estephan, N.D. of the sea, St. George (of Greek Orthodox) visiting the Akl house (painted by Youssef Houwayek) and then back to Beirut.
Special touristic guides and architects took care of these visits
